There is one poisonous snake that rarely its victims; instead, it squirts its venom through the air! This snake is the spitting cobra, from Africa.
The spitting cobra can shoot its poison from venom glands inside its mouth and strike another animal up to a foot away. And the snake’s aim is very good: It usually hits its attacker square in the eye.
A well-aimed squirt of venom from the spitting cobra can blind an animal, or even a person!
