How Do You Know When You Are Hungry?
Hunger begins when substances like glucose (sugar), vitamins, minerals, and amino acids are missing from your blood.
Nerves in your body send a message to the hunger center in your brain telling it of the shortage. The hunger center then reacts by making the stomach and intestines more active.
