How Many Stars Are There in the Universe?

A galaxy is a large grouping of stars, such as the Milky Way galaxy in which we live.

Scientists have figured out that a galaxy contains from one billion to one trillion stars. And they also believe that there are about ten billion galaxies in the universe.

So, there may be as many as 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 stars in the universe!
