In What Part of the World Is It Impolite To Watch Others Eat?

In the Mid-East country of Iran, many villagers in outlying areas gather around a central dish of food on the floor for a community meal.

They sit in a kneeling position, because according to the laws of their prophet, Mohammed, that position showed sympathy for slaves who had to kneel before their masters.

After washing thoroughly before eating, these Iranians take their food from the central dish, only with the right hand, the clean hand, and lick their fingers clean at the end of the meal. It is forbidden to watch anyone else eat during this community meal.

Of the almost 4 billion people in the world today, Vs eat with knives and forks, Vs eat with chopsticks, and Vs eat with their fingers!
