Is The Tasmanian Wolf Extinct?

Also known as the Tasmanian Tiger because of its striped back, the Tasmanian Wolf is assumed to have become extinct in the 20th century.

Very few people have heard of such an animal, and, in truth, there is no absolute proof that they exist.

Some scientists believe them to be extinct. However, there are fossils of these animals have been found in Australia and New Guinea. At present, however, the only animals that might possibly be alive would be found in Tasmania.

These wolves have always been hunted, because they were accused of killing farm animals. Now, there are laws to protect them, but it may be too late.

Science knows practically nothing about these odd wolves, and chances are they never will. There are no Tasmanian wolves alive in the zoos of the world.

Unconfirmed sightings of this creature are still being reported till this day.
