In northern Africa, Arabic and Berber are the most widely spoken languages.

The rest of the continent, more than one third of the people, speak one of the hundreds of Black African languages.
For example, about 300 Bantu languages are used in central, eastern, and southern Africa, of which Swahili is the most widely spoken.
One unusual group of languages, Khoisan, is often called a “click” language because its speakers use clicking sounds to convey certain words.
