Where Is the Hollywood of the Pacific?

Japan and India make more films each Year than any other nations on earth, more than 500 each.

France and Italy each make more than 200 films in an average year. But surprisingly enough, the fifth ranking nation in film-making is the Philippines!

The Philippines might be called the “Hollywood of the Pacific”, as while the United States produces about 300 films a year, the Philippines produces more than 400!
